It´s simple. At any point of time, your camera operators are working at various locations. After gathering the footage, they can insert their camera card into the PIXBOX which then sends all the data to a cloud. From there, the editor can download it for further processing or also for immediate release. All transferred data is stored and archived to eliminate the risk of a damaged or lost card.
Everything works quickly, reliably and safely, with main emphasis on user-friendliness. The camera operator simply inserts a memory card into the PIXBOX and can then concentrate on collecting more footage without worrying about anything else. You are always in full control. The screen on the device displays the signal strength and also the remaining data for transfer. The test was performed by transferring a two-minute video representing 400 MB of data. The standard FTP transfer took 10 minutes to complete. However, the PIXBOX transferred the same video in 1 minute. How is this possible? Before the video was uploaded, the PIXBOX encoded the file into a compressed file by using an HEVC codec. The video was then uploaded through 2 mobile operator connections, which shortened the necessary transfer time.
